China: Steel billet prices fall by RMB 70/t ($10/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in Tangshan fell by RMB 70/t ($10/t) as compared to last Friday to RMB 3,090/t ($431/t, including VAT), while SHFE Oct’25 rebar futures dropped RMB 108/t ($15/t) to RMB 3,248/t ($453/t).
Prices plunged, as Chinese coking coal and coke tags dropped after stricter futures trading curbs triggered profit‑taking.
