Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 50/t ($8/t) on 10 Dec’21. Domestic billet prices stood at RMB 4,310/t ($676/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,322/t ($678/t), witnessing a recovery of RMB 29/t ($4/t), d-o-d.
