Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 15 Mar’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,640/t ($727/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery settled today at RMB 4,753/t ($745/t), witnessing a significant fall of RMB 39/t ($6/t), d-o-d.
