Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan witnessed a sharp day-on-day fall of RMB 150/t ($23) on 10 Nov’21. Domestic billet prices stood at RMB 4,450/t ($696), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for Jan’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,246/t ($664), a drop of RMB 11/t ($2), d-o-d.
