China: Steel billet prices edge down by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

Domestic billet prices in China’s Tangshan fell d-o-d by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,820/t ($566/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 12 Jan’23.
A decline in futures has pulled down billet prices, SteelMint notes.
China’s SHFE rebar futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,136/t ($613/t), a decrease of RMB 25/t ($4/t), d-o-d.
