Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan dropped by RMB 30/t ($4/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,020/t ($413/t) on 13 Feb’25. Prices include 13% VAT.
A fall in finished steel prices and rebar futures weighed on billet tags.
SHFE rebar futures (May’25 delivery) decreased by RMB 27/t ($4/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,265/t ($447/t) on 13 Feb’25.
