China: Stainless steel production rises m-o-m in Oct

China’s stainless steel production was recorded at 2.89 mnt in Oct’22, an increase of 8.65% as against 2.66 mnt in Sept’22, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Output of 300 series stood at 1.53 mnt, 200 series at 0.89 mnt, and 400 series at 0.47 mnt.
The production volume went up by 28% y-o-y as against 2.26 mnt in Oct’21.
The production volume was slightly down 1.35% to 26.95 mnt y-o-y as against 27.32 in Jan-Oct’21.
