China: Stainless steel production drops m-o-m in July

China’s stainless steel production was recorded at 2.52 million tonnes (mnt) in July, a decrease of 9% as against 2.76 mnt in Jun’22, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Output of the 300 series was recorded at 1.34 mnt, 200 series at 0.81 mnt, and 400 series at 0.37 mnt.
On a y-o-y basis, the production volume was down 10.95% as against 2.83 mnt in Jul’21.
