China: Stainless steel production drops m-o-m in Aug

China’s stainless steel production was recorded at 2.38 mnt in Aug’22, a decrease of 5.6% as against 2.52 mnt in Jul’22, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Output of 300 series stood at 1.30 mnt, 200 series at 0.78 mnt, and 400 series at 0.30 mnt.
On a y-o-y basis, the production volume went down by 15% as against 2.81 mnt in Aug’21.
