China: Spot iron ore prices remain stable d-o-d ahead of Qing Ming holiday

Iron ore (Fe 62%) fines spot prices remained stable d-o-d at $102.25/t CFR China on 2 Apr’24 amid increase in restocking activities and usage of high-low blend fines. As per report, the steel enquiries increased on improved demand amid slight recovered market confidence. Although forecasts for iron ore consumption remained unfavourable due to the upcoming Chinese Qing Ming national holiday on 4-6 April.
