Iron ore (Fe 62%) fines spot prices dipped by $2.35/t d-o-d to $116.65/t CFR China on 8 Mar’24 amid weak downstream steel demand and drop in molten iron ore output due to ongoing blast furnace maintenance among some steelmakers. As per reports, some certain fines brand demand increased as few steel mills were operating their blast furnaces at lower rates.
