China: Silico manganese production falls by 200,000 t in Sep’21

As many as 105 smelters in China produced 655,000 t of silico manganese in Sep’21, as per latest reports. The key producing provinces are Inner Mongolia with 183,500 t followed by Ningxia and Guizhou. Production in Guizhou province went down by 40,000 t, m-o-m, in Sep due to strict electricity rationing policy in China that has affected manufacturing activity across sectors.
