China’s EAF steelmaker – Shagang Steel group has announced a price hike by RMB 80/MT (USD 11) for all grades of domestic steel scrap procurement, effective from tomorrow, 5 June’20. The purchase price for HMS (6-10 mm thickness) will be at RMB 2610/MT (USD 366), inclusive of 13% VAT, delivering to headquarters works in Zhangjiagang in China, shared by a reliable source.
