China: Shagang to put HRC rolling line on a 20-day maintenance

China’s leading steelmaker Shagang Steel is planning to put its 1,450 mm HRC rolling line under maintenance and repair for next 20 days, starting 5 Dec’20, SteelMint learned from credible sources. This shutdown would affect the daily HRC output of about 180,000 t per day. SteelMint’s assessment for Chinese HRC export has increased by $20 w-o-w.
