China’s leading steelmaker Shagang Steel has kept its construction steel prices unchanged for mid-Mar’21 sales i.e. 11-20 Mar’21. Price for rebar (16-25mm) stands at RMB 4,850/t, wire rod (16-25mm) at RMB 4,960/t and coiled rebar (8-10mm) at RMB 5,000/t. All prices are on ex-mill basis. The company decided to roll over prices considering the slow demand recovery in China’s domestic steel market and decreasing raw material prices.
