China: Shagang Steel raises rebar prices by RMB 50/t ($8/t) for mid-April deliveries

China’s Shagang Steel has raised rebar offers for mid-Apr’22 sales. However, wire rod prices continue to remain unchanged. Effective prices:
  • Rebar (16-25 mm): RMB 5,350/t ($840/t)
  • Wire rods (6-10 mm): RMB 5,310/t ($833/t)
  • Coiled rebar (8-10 mm): RMB 5,400/t ($847/t)
All prices are on ex-mill basis, including VAT.
