Chinese steelmaker Jiangsu Shagang Group has increased its construction steel prices for mid-Sept’21 sales, effective 11 Sept’21. Re-bar prices have been increased by RMB 350/t, coiled re-bar by RMB 300/t and wire rod by RMB 200/t. All prices are ex-mill, including taxes. Current prices:
- Re-bar (16-25 mm): RMB 5,700/t ($883)
- Wire rod (6.5 mm): RMB 5,910 ($916)
- Coiled rebar (8-10mm): RMB 6,000/t ($929)
