China: Shagang Steel hikes long steel prices by up to RMB 150/t ($23)

China’s Shagang Steel has raised construction steel prices for early-Oct’21. Rebar prices have been increased by RMB 100/t and coiled rebar and wire rod prices by RMB 150/t each. Fresh offers:

• Rebar (16-25mm): RMB 6,150/t ($955)
• Wire rod (6-10mm): RMB 6,260/t ($972)
• Coiled rebar (8-10mm): RMB 6,350/t ($986)

All prices are ex-mill, effective from 11 Oct.
