China’s leading steelmaker – Shagang Steel has increased its construction steel prices by RMB 600/t for mid-May sales, effective from today. The current prices are as follows:
- Rebar (16-25mm) price is at RMB 6,150/t ($957)
- Wire rod (6-10mm) price is at RMB 6,310/t ($982)
- Coiled rebar (8-10 mm) price is at RMB 6,400/t ($996)
All prices are ex-mill, inclusive of taxes.
