China: Shaanxi issued mining right licences to 75 coal mines in CY22

In line with China government’s aim to accelerate domestic coal supply, Shaanxi province has issued mining right licences to 75 mines till date in CY22. Shaanxi has 361 operational mines with 293 being mid and large-scale, bearing a total capacity of 586 mnt. For the period of January-October’22, Shaanxi produced 616.46 mnt of coal, up 6.5% y-o-y.
