China recorded run of mine (ROM) iron ore production of 84.7 mn t in Sep’21, up 15% as against 73.48 mn t in Sep’20, National Bureau of Statistics data shows. In Aug, output was impacted by COVID-related disruptions. Sep output of ROM ore increased compared to 83.92 mn t in Aug. During Jan-Sep’21 China’s production of raw iron ore stood at 721.96 mn t.
