China recorded run of mine (ROM) iron ore production of 80.13 mn t in Oct’21, down 5% as against 84.7 mn t in Sep, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data shows. On a y-o-y basis, output inched up 2%. Output in Oct’20 was low due to the impact of COVID-19. In the Jan-Oct’21 period, China’s production of raw iron ore stood at 802.09 mn t.
