China recorded run of mine (ROM) iron ore production of 73.92 mnt in Feb’22, down 10% against 81.84 mnt in Jan’22, National Bureau of Statistics data shows. On a yearly basis, output increased by 14% compared to Feb’21. During Jan-Feb’22, China’s production of raw iron ore stood at 155.76 mnt, up by 20% y-o-y on rising output from four provinces.
