China: Raw iron ore production rises nearly 6%, y-o-y, in May

As per National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data, China’s raw iron ore output was 97.805 mnt in May’22 – up 5.6% on the year. In the Jan-May period, the Middle Kingdom’s run of mine (ROM) iron ore output was recorded at 423.883 mnt, a marginal increase of 0.2% y-o-y.
