According to National Bureau of Statistics data, China’s raw coal output in Sep’21 stood at 330 mn t, a y-o-y decrease of 0.9%. China imported 32.88 mn t of coal during the month, a y-o-y increase of 76%. In Jan-Sep, production of raw coal was at 2.93 billion tonnes. Coal imports during the period were 230.4 mn t, a decrease of 3.6% on the year.
