Stockpiles of imported iron ore at major Chinese ports inched up 1.4 percent to 69.74 million tonnes this week
Inventories of Australian ore reached 24.67 million tonnes, 550,000 tonnes higher than last week, while Brazilian ore rose 320,000 tonnes to end at 17.74 million tonnes
Ore originating in India fell 240,000 tonnes to 12.66 million tonnes
Chinese iron ore imports in October fell 13.1 percent on a monthly basis to 45.72 million tonnes, according to preliminary customs data released on Wednesday
