China: Nickel ore imports rise 12% m-o-m in Jun’22

  • China’s nickel ore imports in June’22 stood at 4.31 mnt, a rise of 12% as against 3.84 mnt in May’22.
  • On a yearly basis, import volumes fell by 10.2% as compared to 4.8 mnt in Jun’21.
  • Total imports in Jan-Jun’22 were recorded at 15.11 mnt, as per SteelMint data.
