China: Met coke production up by 7% in June’22

In June’22, China produced 41.5 mnt of met coke, up by 7% y-o-y. The rise has come in line with government’s efforts to increase domestic production amid increased availability of cheaper Russian coal. However, met coke output during Jan-Jun’22 stood at 238 mnt, unchanged against same period last year.
