China: Met coke producers finish restocking ahead of New Year holidays

Coke producers in China have completed winter restocking ahead of the Spring Festival holidays. In the last week of Jan’22, merchant coke producers’ coking coal inventory stood at 15.5 mnt, up 5.4% w-o-w, sufficient to last 18 days. Around 247 steel plants have coking coal stocks of 11.7 mnt, enough for 18 days’ usage
