China’s met coke production in Dec’21 stood at 36 mn t, up 6% against Nov, data from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows. Output rose as China increased efforts to improve coal production to meet rising domestic demand especially in Q4CY’21. The country’s coke output in CY’21 stood at 464.5 mn t, down 2% on the year.
