Met Coke exports from China during Aug’17 shrunk significantly on account of the higher prices, which were outcomes of the escalating Coking Coal prices.
According to the latest data released by China Customs, around 0.45 MnT of Met Coke was exported from China in Aug’17. A comparison of the volume with the exports in Jul’17 shows that the exports in the eight month of 2017 were lower by around 37.26% against the exports of around 0.71 MnT in the seventh month.
Out of the total export volume, India had received the highest, followed by Malaysia and Iran.
