China: Manganese ore imports almost stable y-o-y in CY’22

China’s manganese ore imports were mostly stable y-o-y at 29.93 mnt in CY’22 compared to 30.03 mnt in CY’21, as per customs data.
The major exporters were South Africa (14.69 mnt), Gabon (5.13 mnt), Australia (4.2 mnt) and Ghana (2.7 mnt).
In Dec’22, manganese ore imports into China stood at 2.53 mnt, a marginal drop of 1% m-o-m.
