According to CBC, a major ferro chrome company based in China’s Inner Mongolia region has floated an enquiry for procuring 30,000 t of HC ferro chrome from nearby plants. In the enquiry letter, the company has stated that due to severe power cuts in the Ulanqab region, it had to suspend operations and was unable to fulfil sales contracts. The company is in urgent need of material for fulfilling existing contracts.
