China: Iron ore spot prices stable d-o-d amid holidays

Iron ore spot prices in China remained largely stable d-o-d amid the ongoing Lunar New Year holidays. Benchmark Fe 62% iron ore fines prices inched up by $0.4/t to $127.4/t CFR China on 27 Jan’23. Seaborne trading activity was light, with no offers heard in the market. Some market participants stated that they intend to import more cargoes once the market direction is clear.
