China: Iron ore spot prices rise by $2/dmt d-o-d

Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices edged up by $1.55/dmt d-o-d to $107.4/dmt CFR China on 10 Oct’25 as trades picked up. Although market uncertainty persists, prices gained momentum across both physical and paper markets. Port-stock prices also firmed, supported by steady restocking, mainly of mid-grade fines. As per reports, trading is expected to normalise next week as the market steadies.
