Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices declined by $1.55/dmt to $105.85/dmt CFR China on 3 Nov’25, as against 31 Oct. Prices dipped as steel mills struggled with weak margins and lower earnings, while increased alternative supplies gave buyers more options. Consequently, sellers were compelled to offer deeper discounts to remain competitive, keeping overall market sentiment cautious.
