China: Iron ore spot prices fall on fears of steel production cuts

The spot price of iron ore in China fell on 24 Jun’22 on expectations of further steel mill production cuts due to poor margins. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices inched down by $1.05/t to $115.00/t CFR China. During the day, the seaborne market saw healthy levels of trading activity, with seaborne trades heard concluded in both the primary and secondary markets.
