Iron ore spot prices in China fell d-o-d due to continued import losses. Benchmark Fe 62% iron ore fines prices fell by $0.85/t to $128.95/t CFR China on 31 Jan’23. According to sources, mill output will increase from February onwards, “which might keep iron ore prices strong in the short run.” Demand for high-grade fines have seen an improvement in the market.
