Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices inched down by $0.9/t to $95.2/t CFR China on 9 Jun’25 against 6 Jun’25 . The drop was driven by higher usage of low-grade fines for blending, as mills aimed to control input costs and maintain margins. While softer coke prices offered some relief, sentiment turned neutral due to sustained hot metal output and gradually narrowing margins.
