China: Iron ore spot prices decrease on bearish demand

The spot price of iron ore in China fell on 17 Jun’22 as bearish demand outlook weighed on prices. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $7.35/t to $122.15/t CFR China. During the day, seaborne iron ore prices fell further, and market participants were heard to be more cautious, with the market experiencing a low level of trading activity.
