China, the world’s largest iron ore consumer, recorded iron ore production at 87.904 mnt in the fourth month of 2024 (Apr’24), an increase of 11.5% y-o-y, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. In Jan-Apr’24 iron ore production was recorded at 368.87 mnt, up by 14% y-o-y.
