China: Iron ore prices under pressure amid ongoing holidays

Spot prices of iron ore fines (Fe 62%) inched down by $0.75/t d-o-d to $108.5/t CFR China on 10 Jun’24 following weak market dynamics amid the ongoing Dragon Boat Festival. The steelmakers were on holiday, and there was no activity in the Chinese physical market. The drop in iron ore prices yesterday was mainly a continuation of bearish market sentiment from last week.
