China: Iron ore prices stable, participants remain on sidelines

The spot price of iron ore in China remained relatively stable on 2 August with market participants remaining on the sidelines. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up marginally by $0.4/t to $113.3/t CFR China. The seaborne iron ore market continued to see weak buying interest for cargoes as the secondary market gets flooded with offers.
