China: Iron ore prices rise sharply as some mills resume production

The spot price of iron ore in China rose on 26 July on the back of news of some steel mills restarting production. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $7.7/t to $111.7/t CFR China. During the late Asian hours, seaborne liquidity increased, with several trades concluded on trading platforms.
