China: Iron ore prices rise as China relaxes quarantine measures

The spot price of iron ore in China increased on 28 Jun’22 as the market gained confidence following the relaxation of quarantine measures. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices increased by $5.4/t to $125.0/t CFR China. Seaborne iron ore prices rose on the day as news of a reduction in the COVID-19 quarantine measures boosted market sentiment.
