China: Iron ore prices fall on weak steel demand

Iron ore spot price in China fell on 19 July as weak steel demand continued to drag down seaborne liquidity. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $4.45/t to $96.45/t CFR China. Buying sentiments remained volatile while a few mills continued to see some light selling of their long-term cargoes.
