China: Iron ore prices fall on weak demand outlook

The spot price of iron ore in China fell on 13 Jun’22 due to continued weak Chinese steel demand amid poor steel margins. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $4.95/t to $136.60/t CFR China. Iron ore prices were pushed down by weak downstream steel demand and expectations of Chinese steel output cuts in the second half of the year.
