China: Iron ore prices fall on weak buying interest

On July 1, the spot price of iron ore in China fell further, hampered by sluggish trading activity on the seaborne market. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $3.65/t to $116.45/t CFR China. Seaborne market liquidity was poor and prices fell during the day, with few trades and offers heard in the primary and secondary markets.
