China: Iron ore prices fall on subdued Chinese demand

The spot price of iron ore in China fell on 22 June’22 as demand from Chinese mills decreased. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $6.50/t to $109.40/t CFR China. Furthermore, due to low steel margins more Chinese mills were heard putting their blast furnaces under maintenance.
