China: Iron ore prices edge down amid weaker seaborne liquidity

The spot price of iron ore in China inched down by $0.7/t d-o-d on 6 Sept’22 as buyers moved to the side lines on narrower import margins. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down to $97.30/t CFR China. Meanwhile, portside liquidity was relatively healthy with mills actively procuring due to low raw material inventories.
